Unity with nature is an innate need of a person living in a large, busy metropolis. Satisfying this need was the main idea behind the design of the City Bay residential complex. The complex itself is conveniently located near the river, the territory is abundantly landscaped, and the interior design of the houses continues the natural theme.
The lobby of the residential complex is decorated in the colors of autumn, noble, peaceful and relaxing. Lighting in warm shades of glow enhances this effect, gives the interior some luxary.
To add volume to the lobby space helps the effect of floating ceiling, created with the help of backlighting on the basis of profile and LED tape Arlight. Backlighting also outlines the windows and highlights the mailbox area.
For overhead lighting, ATLAS spot recessed luminaires are used, creating a comfortable and delicate lighting environment due to their low discomfort index (UGR<16) and small angle of light (35°).
A special feature of the City Bay lobby lighting is the biodynamic lighting system. In eight buildings, light control is automated according to natural biorhythms. In the morning, with sunrise, the overhead lights are switched on at 100% brightness and the backlighting at 30%, and in the evening, on the contrary, the ceiling lights are reduced to 30% brightness and the backlighting behind the eaves reaches 100% brightness. If necessary, control can also be carried out in manual mode. For this purpose, the lobbies are equipped with DALI wall panels.
Lighting is also automated in the auxiliary rooms located on the first floor: wheelchair room, bathroom, pet washroom. Installation of motion sensors and customization of lighting scenarios helps to save electricity and the resource of LED equipment. By default, the lights are off, and the brightness of the backlight is only 3%, when motion is detected, the lights are turned on by 20%, and the brightness of the backlight increases to 100%.
Arlight luminaires are also installed in other common areas: floor halls, corridors. All models (RONDO, ATLAS, EXPLORER) have excellent lighting characteristics, high color rendering index (CRI>90), create comfortable diffused lighting without glare.
To ensure additional safety, some rooms of the residential complex are equipped with luminaires with emergency power supply, thanks to which the lighting will continue to function even after a power outage for 3 hours.
The facades of the houses of City Bay Residential Complex were not left without illumination either. With the help of sealed tape series RTW (IP65) with a warm shade of glow emphasized the geometry of buildings, as well as created the effect of privacy and premium.
